Wink Lead generating type - basic knowledge

Usually, lead generating type of programs will make you the quickest money in the shortest time. However, these can be divided in two different categories: Big Commitment and Small Commitment.

Small Commitment CPA Offers

Small commitment is just a marketing term for the types of offers don?t require the user to make a big decision. Zip code or email submits are good examples. Typically you will see the ?Win A Free Gift Card? offers and these are small commitment. The user doesn?t have to consider if they are giving out too much information or if they are going to purchase the product?thus the small commitment.

The advertiser doesn?t pay you a great deal for these leads (maybe $1-$3 per lead) but again, they have a higher conversion rate than higher involvement offers because the decision process and mindset is different.

Here is an example of a ?small commitment? offer you will find among the CPA offers:

The above is a perfect example of a small commitment CPA offer because the ?hook? used to capture customer?s attention is in the headline, meaning that people are most likely to enter their email address to obtain the ?FREE? offer ? Get The New iPad2?.

Big Commitment CPA Offers

CPA offers that require more than just a zip code or email address are considered ?higher commitment?. In other words, the user would have to stop and think about the information they are giving you and they might have to actually purchase something.

Here?s an example of a big commitment CPA offer:

The above offer is an example that requires the customer to purchase a ?Free Trial? ? however, they still have to pay for postage at when they checkout. The hook used to attract the customer is ?Free Trial? and it also offers compelling testimonials on the landing page.

The offer above pays $30 but the conversion rate isn?t that high.
Another offer that requires a big commitment decision is presented below.

Basically, it requires the customer to subscribe and pay $9.99 a month ? this isn?t as easy as simply submitting an email address, therefore, it also has a lower conversion rate.

hope this help
